Meet Thomas Czech, DMD
Born and raised in Metro Detroit, Dr. Thomas Czech attended Michigan State University earning two undergraduate degrees in Human Biology and Physiology. Dr. Czech then attended LECOM School of Dental Medicine and in 2017, he moved to Pittsburgh to began his career. Dr. Czech has worked in a variety of dental offices around Pittsburgh, gaining experience and insight. Under the mentorship of Dr. James Petraitis, he furthered his dental skills and committed to taking over ownership of Alcoma Dental so that it can continue to be a fixture in the community.
Dr. Czech is committed to staying at the forefront of dental education and technology. He is a part of the Academy of General Dentistry (AGD), a professional organization where he is pursuing an esteemed status as Faculty of the Academy General Dentistry, which only a small percentage of dentists achieve. In pursuit of this status, Dr. Czech has taken many courses to further his education and is proud to be able to offer his patients same-day crowns, implants, clear retainers, and so much more.
In his spare time, Dr. Czech enjoys spending time with his astonishing and incredible wife Joanne, who is definitely not the one typing this out for him right now, and their three cats, who are a source of never ending wonder and frustration. They mostly enjoy staying home – working on projects, gardening, spending time on the couch watching movies, playing video games, and reading.
